Da habe ich mich gestern gefreut solch schöne Coins zu bekommen. Doch heute, bei Tageslicht betrachtet, sieht die Sache leider anders aus. Alle Coins sind irgendwie beschädigt. Mal ist es die Lackierung, mal der Matteffekt. Leider ist nicht eine davon brauchbar.

TFatH haben im blauen Forum schon reagiert, da es scheinbar eine Menge Beschwerden gab. The Geocoinstore nimmt alle Coins zurück die beschädigt sind und lässt neue fertigen. Diese werden dann den Käufern als Ersatz zugeschickt.

Ich hatte blöderweise eine Doppelorder getätigt. Der Store hatte mir das Geld für die zweite Order anstandslos zurückgeschickt. Doch die Coins habe ich trotzdem zweimal erhalten. Natürlich habe ich dies schon mitgeteilt und möchte nur eine Lieferung ersetzt haben.

Man will ja noch öfter Geschäfte machen.

Man bekomt pro Coin 1$ für die Versandkosten und die Coins werden ersetzt. Man muss sich mit dem Geocoinclub in Verbindung setzen um zu erfahren wie es mit dem Rücksenden gehen soll. Ich vermute mal man schickt die Coins mit seiner Adresse an den Club zurück und fertig. Aber ich warte noch auf die Antwort. Ich sage Bescheid wenn ich mehr weiss.

Hab mir jetzt mal alle 5 genauer angesehn. Kratzer, Fusseln und Staubkörner sind drauf und stellenweise sind sie auch nicht sauber geprägt.

Kann mal jemand das mit Version 1 und Version 2 übersetzen?
Sehen die Ersatzcoins anders aus?
Ausserdem ist noch die Rede von ner Rückerstattung von $1 pro Coin?

Just got off the phone tonight with our guy at the store. There have been numerous complaints (ours among them) on the high number of bad coins that were circulated among the good ones produced. We have seen a number of different problems show up and the Geocoinstore is working on it right now.

Here's the goods so far: The geocoinstore has a policy to replace, repair or refund for any coin with problems, but here's the good news. The store is currently ordering a new, partial minting of our coins (sans problems) to replace the bad ones that got through. If you have received and return a bad coin, you will receive a shiny new replacement. Better still, the store has generously offered to refund $1 per coin return to cover your shipping cost. The new coins should take 2-3 weeks to produce and begin shipping out immediately after. Any questions regarding the returns policy can be answered by emailing to [email protected]

Thank you to all of you for your understanding. This is our first coin and neither ourselves nor the store want to dissapoint you and we're doing everything we can to make it right. - F&tH

Ok, hope I can clear up the Version 1 / Version 2 issues here. The original design called for a polished brass coin with a brushed brass fox. It also called for soft, hard and synthetic enamels. We didn't realize until they arrived, that the producer couldn't provide those specs. So the replacements will be as close to the original specs as possible:

Face side will have Fox, underscores, coin edge and satellite in polished brass. Hound and underscore fill will still be blue enamel. The interior will be the soft black enamel which should show the original dimensional looks requested.

Tails side will have fox print, bone, trackable text and cords in polished brass. Hound paw will be in blue enamel. The outer ring will be filled level just like the current coin. The interior will be the soft black enamel which should show the original dimensional looks requested.

So we won't make everyone happy, we can only get them as close to our original design intended. I know this may be a strange turn of events, but we hope everyone is satisfied with the replacements being the coins we originally intended to be out there from the start.

Ich hatte heute nacht ein Telefonat mit unserem Kontakt beim Geocoinstore. Es gab eine Menge Beschwerden (unter anderem unsere) wegen den vielen schlechten Coins die neben den guten produziert wurden. Wir haben verschiedene Probleme gesehen und der Geocoinstore arbeitet daran.

Es gibt auch gute Nachrichten: Der Geocoinstore hat eine die Geschäftspolitik, alle Coins mit Problemem zu ersetzen oder auszutauschen. Der Store hat bestellt gerade eine neue Teilprägung von unseren Coins um die schlechten die rausgegangen sind zu ersetzen.Wenn Ihr schlechte Coins bekommen habt und sie zurückschickt bekommt Ihr eine schönen (glänzend im Orginaltext) neuen Ersatz. Außerdem bot der Geocoinstore an einen Dollar pro Coin zurückzuzahlen um die Portokosten zu decken. Die neuen Coins werden in 2-3 Wochen fertig produziert sein und gleich danach rausgeschickt. Alle Fragen betreffend der Rückgabepolitik wird per Mail beantwortet.

Vielen Dank an alle für Euer Verständnis. Das ist unserer erster Coin und weder wir noch der Store möchten euch enttäuschen. Wir machen was wir können um es wieder hinzubiegen.

Ok, ich hoffe hier die Unterschiede zwischen den beiden Versionen klären zu können. Das orginal Design sollte poliertes Messing mit einem gebürsteten Messingfuchs sein. (Anm.von mir.. Das "Bürsten" bitte nicht falsch verstehen. Es handelt sich hier um eine Oberflächenbehandlung bei der mit einer Sisalbürste der Matteffekt erzeugt wird). Es wurde außerdem weiche, harte und syntetische Emaille bestellt. Bis zum Eintreffen der Coins wussten wir nicht, das der Hersteller das nicht machen kann. Der Ersatz wird recht nahe am orginal sein wie möglich.

Bei der Vorderseite wird der Fuchs, die Unterstriche, Coin Seiten und der Satellite poliertes Messing sein. Der Jagthund mit seinem Unterstrich wird blau emailliert. Das Innere wird schwarze Emaille sein. bla bla..

Bei der Rückseite ist der Fuchsabdruck, Knochen, Track Text und die Koordinaten in poliertem Messing. Der Hundeabdruck wird blau emailiert. Der Außenring wird wie das Orginal gefüllt sein. Das Innere wird schwarz emailiert.

Auch wenn wir nicht jeden damit glücklich machen, ist das relativ nahe am Orginal Design. Ich weiss das dies eine Abkehr von der ursprünglichen Idee ist, aber wir hoffen jederist zufrieden mit dem Ersatz dieser Coins die wir eigentlich vorhatten rauszubringen.
