No spoiler images showing up (v510)

I tried searching in the forum for this problem but since I'm not that fluent in German I found nothing.

I've used SpoilerSync to download spoiler images and moved them to "cachebox\Repository\Spoilers" but no images show up in the program.

How should the images be named? They are now named with the cache ID first, like this;

Code:
GC7748 - View from the top.jpg
Am I missing something?

Yes,
with version 510 the spoiler images are not any more located in a flat directory structure but in subdirectories made out of the first 4 letters of the CG-Code.

for your example image the path shall be
Code:
cachebox\Repository\Spoilers\GC77\
The filename is fine.

Here a little REBOL script to move all your images to the right position
http://www.geoclub.de/download/file.php?id=10223

you need recol Core from http://www.rebol.com to execute the script (available for Windows, MAC, Linux and more).

Please copy the move.r file into your spoiler directory and execute from there (on your PC, not the PDA!).

I have a more advanced version to be executed in the download folder of spoilersync
http://www.geoclub.de/download/file.php?id=10251

Regards.

Thanks, that explains a lot!

Is there any place that explains why this change has been implemented, what are the benefits?

Will give the scripts a try.

Hi m1m3r,

510 is an unofficial inbetween version provided by tower27 for all those who can not compile the latest sources themselves.
you can find a changelog here: http://www.geoclub.de/viewtopic.php?f=114&t=50702&start=22

Regarding the folder structure i guess it was a try to improve performance.
Windows Mobile is getting very slow when handling folders containing a lot of files and the spoiler directory is a candidate for several thousand small files. So splitting this huge folder is in principle a good idea.

That worked like a charm!

Is there any way to also pre-download description images in the same way? I'm pretty sure they somehow appeared in earlier versions of CB?
