SmartGPX ist seit dem Wochenende in Version 1.1 verfügbar. Auch das SmartGPX Addon wurde von Version 0.6 auf 0.7 upgedatet. Hier mal ein Auszug aus den Release-Notes:
New features, changes

- New "Log your visit" functionality
Logs entries can be created on the device. This functionality replaces the "Found it" and "Notes"
function. The local database will be converted to take over previously entered notes. This may
take a while at the first start. The "Add to calendar" setting has been removed.
- New "My logs" view to view all log entries created on the device.
- Export logs as field notes that can be uploaded to geocaching.com. The field notes format is equal
to the Colorado field notes.
- Cache counter
- Use GrabbedImages from GSAK.
- Simple "Bookmarks" view. Selected geocaches can be bookmarked. There is a special filter to view
only bookmarked items.
- Manual location entry and export to Landmark DB
- AFTrack integration. There is an AFTrack menu in the detail view that provides the items "Show" and "Goto".
More functions will follow.
- The connection to the GPS receiver will be closed after 20 seconds of idle.
Bugs fixed
----------
- Orientation switch bug (Landscape to portrait)
- Item selection in list view using the pencil key
Mein persönlicher erster Eindruck ist gut, scheinbar wurde der Zugriff auf die Datenbank etwas optimiert. Leider scheinen ein paar Notizen beim Konvertieren der Datenbank auf der Strecke geblieben zu sein. Außerdem (und das stört mich ziemlich) wird nicht mehr angezeigt, wenn es einen persönlichen Kommentar zu einem Cache gibt.
Ich dachte ich erzähl es mal, die Symbian-User wird es sicher freuen!
