? zum Oregon 450t zum Softwareupdate und Cahcenavigation

Halle liuebe Gemeinschaft,
habe seit paar Tagen nun das Oregon450t welches noch die 5.40 Softwareversion drauf hat welches ich aufs 6.10 updaten möchte. Er ladet die Updatende Datei runter und bei 100% egal wann und ob PC oder Notebook sagt dann das Programm "Updatedatei ist beschädigt"
Wie kann ich sonst das Gerät auf die aktuelle Software updaten?

Und andere Frage ist wie kann ich die Karte (OSM-Karte/Freizeitkarte) die ich auf der Speicherkarte drauf habe ins Gerät packen? Denn mit der die ich drauf und aktiviert habe (Recreantional Map of Europe v3.01, Worldwide Autoroute DEM, Digital Globe, Birds Eye Select Kompass-Schweitz, BirdsEye Select EIRE, BirdsEye Select France, BirdsEye Select GB, BirdsEye Select K Zelle am See) .
Wer kann mir dabei weiter helfen ganz einfach am besten da ich mich mit dem Gerät noch nicht ganz auskenne.

GCD based upgrades

Official non-beta software releases are linked directly to a GCD file for that release. GCD files are also available through Garmin's web site using a URL of the form: http://www8.garmin.com/software/Oregonx50_WebUpdater__xyz.gcd where xyz is the three digit version number. For example, for version 2.3, xyz would equal 230.

For instructions on how to do GCD-based upgrades and downgrades look here .

Beta releases are not available as a gcd file but are linked to the exe installer file instead.

Gerät anschließen, auf Karte zugreifen, Ordner \Garmin, IMG-Datei ausschneiden, rüber aufs Gerät wechseln und dort im Ordner \Garmin einfügen.

Each Software Version below is linked to that version's gcd file. Normally I would recommend upgrading through Webupdater but if for some reason you can't (e.g. you are trying to downgrade) then you can update using the following procedure:

Use the links below under "Software Version" to download the gcd file for the version you want to use
Change the name of the file you just download to gupdate.gcd
Attach the Oregon to your computer and verify that it is in USB Mass storage mode
Copy gupdate.gcd to [OR drive]:\Garmin\gupdate.gcd
Restart the Oregon

Genial!

Habe mein 450 auch gleich mal auf den neuesten Stand gebracht.
Eigentlich habe ich befürchtet, dass alle Einstellungen weg sein
werden, aber Pustekuchen. Selbst das Hintergrundbild UND die
aktuellen Daten (z.B. GPX) wurden in das neue System übernommen.

Generell ist ein Backup vor Updates angeraten - wenn irgendwas crasht, geht man einfach zurück, und probiert es ggf. nochmal.
