Hallo Cacher

In the Device Manager, go to the last heading and click the PLUS on Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
Look for a heading that states ENHANCED HOST CONTROLLER or has 2.0 in the description. This will tell you that you have a USB 2.0 Controller installed on your PC.
Check the following before continuing:
1. Check for chipset names that are INTEL, NEC, etc. These are compatible chipsets with our devices.
2. If you have a chipset name that contains SiS, Via, OpenHCD, Ali, or Alr, these chipsets are not compatible with our devices and may not allow the USB Card Programmer to function. If you have a compatible chipset, make sure that your mouse and keyboard do not connect to your USB Ports in any way. If the mouse and keyboard use a round plug and do not plug into the USB Ports, then continue to the next step. IF they connect to the USB Ports, then contact your computer manufacturer on how you can connect our USB Device to your PC to make it function.
Providing that you do not have your mouse and keyboard connected to the USB Ports, right click on the ENHANCED HOST CONTROLLER line or the line with the 2.0 in the description. Then left click on DISABLE.
We must temporarily disable the Enhanced Host Controller in order to complete the USB Driver Installation. Once the controller is disabled, the Hardware Wizard should come up and you can continue through the wizard as described in the section above. Once the drivers are installed, you will see a heading under the Universal Serial Bus Controllers that says GARMIN USB CARD PROGRAMMER. Once this appears, right click on the Enhanced or 2.0 line and left click on ENABLE to re-enable the ports again.
At this point, the USB Card Programmer should now appear and function within MapSource.
Wie schaff ich es dennoch, mein Legend an den Laptop anzuschließen???
Gruß FF
