The planning for the 2nd International EarthCache Mega Event is getting very exciting! With coins being struck, T shirts designed and the program being finalized, it seems like are are getting very close to meeting you all in Utah.

So this is a call out to those who have not registered to do so so we can ensure we have a T-shirt in your size and enough coins! We would hate you to miss out! Click here to register

Do I have to register??
No - to just sign the logbook. However, if you want to attend any sessions, visit any vendor or participate in any activity, you must be registered. The cost of registration cover the cost of the venue and facilities. (GSA is a not-for-profit organization and is not making money from this event). Its easy and cheap. REGISTER NOW

Program
We are building an exciting list of sessions that you can attend at the event. These include topics such as:

Q&A with the Geoaware reviewers
Developing an Earthcache
HTML on cache pages
Working with State Parks/NPS
History of the EarthCache program and where it is going
EarthCache Guidelines
Reviewing and the Appeals Process
Geology of the area
Where to get ideas for Earthcaches

EarthCache GeoVentures - the Hawaiian experience

...and the list continues to grow.

Do you want to present a session?
It’s not too late - just send us an email ([email protected]) with the title of the session and a brief description of the content of your talk. Please note that presenters MUST be registered to attend.

Other activities
There will be many other activities that you can participate in...”closest to the coordinates”, kids activities, rock identification and more. There is plenty to see and do at the Event (and of course the surrounding areas).

EarthCache Mega Coins
Each EarthCache Mega Event has coins specially designed and struck to celebrate the occasion. This years is no exception with a limited edition coin that will only be available through purchasing as part of registration. These coins are NEVER available for purchase outside of the Mega event...although we discovered a small stock of 1IEE coins that will be on sale at the GSA Booth at this event (if you missed out).

T-Shirts
Event T shirts are available through registration in various adult sizes - but they are ONLY available if you register before the event. Onsite registrants may not be able to obtain a T shirt in their size (or at all).

Support 2IEE - become a FRIEND OF THE EVENT (only open until 13 August)!
We are looking for geocachers who would like to support us by becoming a Friend of the Event. It costs just $100 and you will receive:

• 20% off two registrations and 20% off merchandise (excluding meals) purchased online
• Name on selected 2IEE materials/website
• An icon to display on your geocaching profile
