Hi,

wenn man mal von Schaudergeschichten wie *.class-Dateien im SVN absieht, sowie den BLOBs von Ewe und Co., besteht im reinen CW-Quellkode noch ein Problem:

Es benutzt (bindet direkt in ein GPL-Programm mit ein) eine Bibliothek, die unter einer Lizenz, die nicht Open Source ist, mit ein. Da diese Lizenz eine zusätzliche Beschränkung beïnhaltet ist sie auch nicht GPL-kompatibel.

Das mag lächerlich klingen und „gute Absicht“ des Autors sein, ist aber nōn-free, und dadurch sind CW-Binaries zur zeit illegal.

Sehr schöne Lizenz, wenn man mal die Geschichte des Autors dazu liest. ;-)
Stell' doch einfach CW unter eine (wirklich) freie Lizenz wie die obige MIT oder eine andere BSD-artige, dann hast Du auch nicht mehr das Gezeter von den Stallman-Jüngern.

Naja, es mag ja so schön sein wie es will, Fakt ist, daß es weder Open Source
noch DFSG-frei oder GPL-kompatibel ist.

Und CacheWolf unter BSDL zu stellen wird vermutlich schwierig, wenn man mal
bedenkt, wieviele Leute schon dran rumgebastelt haben.
