Urgent: Basecamp blocking issue

I'm using Garmin BaseCamp on Windows 10. I installed Freizeitkarte_ITA+ to use the map while hiking in Italy, where I'm going soon. I already had the previous Freizeitkarte_ITA map.
Ever since I opened BaseCamp, an alert appears asking me to uninstall Freizeitkarte_ITA, then open BaseCamp. I can't uninstall this map anymore and can't use BaseCamp anymore. Can someone help me? It's urgent. Thank you very much in advance. Frédéric

I think you misunderstood the error message. It says that there is a problem regarding the installation of the mentioned map. And BaseCamp recommends to re-install the map.

Is it no more possible for you to work with BaseCamp?

As I can't uninstall the mentioned map (no way from the Freizeitkarte plateform to uninstalled an old deleted version map), I don't find any solution to open Basecamp.

The cards are normally installed in the following path:

C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps

Try to delete the related folder and/or file. Its name should be "Freizeitkarte_ITA+.gmap" or similar.

Sometimes there is an uninstaller program, such like this: "Freizeitkarte_ITA-Uninstall.exe" or so. Try this, too.

I yet deleted all the files Freizeitkarte_ITA, but no improvment. I look for uninstaller program, but nothing for _ITA?
The problem is still the same.

Quick and dirty solution: Deinstall and then newly install BaseCamp from scratch.

Did you completely delete "C:\Program Data\Garmin\Maps" before?

I do both again, but the same alert appears with the new Basecamp app. And I have nothing left in "C:\Program Data\Garmin\Maps"

Sorry, then I cannot help further. I guess your Basecamp Uninstall failed for some reasons. But which? I do not know.
