Gibt es einen "besten Cache"?

Bei mehr als 50 (jeder wird hier andere Werte bevorzugen) Punkten ist der Cache zu 99% besser als der Durchschnitt und es lohnt sich, das Listing und die Logs zu studieren. Ob man dann wirklich hin geht, kann man immer noch entscheiden.

Gilt das auch für Bonuscaches bei Grünzeug auf Rundkurs, die "stellvertretend für die Runde" massenhaft Schleifen bekommen?
Nach meiner Erfahrung sind die Tradis Petlinge an nichtssagenden Orten und der Bonus meist eine mehr oder weniger geräumige Dose geringen Füllstands unter dem linken Hinterreifen ohne tieferen Sinn.
Und DAFÜR gibt´s dann einen Fav???

Ich verstehe, was Du meinst, aber ich bin der Überzeugung, dass viele Favs eher ein Indikator für den Mainstreamgeschmack und sehr gute Zugänglichkeit und damit viele Finder sind und nicht unbedingt mehr.

Ausnahmen bestätigen die Regel.

Es gibt diverse verschiedene (z.B. diese hier) GC-Vote-Hitlisten, die sowohl die Anzahl Bewertungen als auch den Durchschnitt berücksichtigen.

Ob das deinen Geschmack trifft, ist eine ganz andere Frage. Meinen nur sehr bedingt.

Ich hab Platz 1-4 gemacht, wobei die Helden-Serie (die Plätze 1-3) nicht so wirklich an mich gingen, ich fand das eher ein abschreckendes Beispiel, was Horden-Dosensuchen an verbrannter Erde und zerstörter Natur hinterlässt. YMMV.

Platz 4 (Voss-Margarine, wurde hier auch schon erwähnt) war wirklich klasse und ist das Parade-Gegenbeispiel, dass auch wenn Hunderte von Dosensuchern einen Ort absuchen danach da keine Wüste und offensichtliche Spuren zurückbleiben. Ok, der ist mitten in ner Großstadt. Da ist das etwas einfacher. Nichtsdestotrotz zu empfehlen.

Ziemlich weit oben in der Liste ist auch die 7Burgen-Tour (GCJC83) , die ist aber nicht für Jeden geeignet. Das hat was mit draußen länger bewegen zu tun, und der durchschnittliche Dosensucher tut sowas in dem Maße glaub ich nur extrem ungern. Oder um es provokativ zu sagen: Das ist nix für Tatzenuniformträger . Ich hatte Spaß wie selten und werde noch in Jahren davon erzählen und Wert auf die Betonung legen, dass ich ein echter Held bin, das im Hochsommer gemacht habe und weder Begleitfahrzeug noch Equipmentdepot genutzt habe. Das Final ist übrigens wenn ich mich recht erinnere ein beachtlich großer Rollcontainer mitten im Wald

Die Walddusche (GCKA1T) ist auch ganz lustig, aber mehr unter dem Aspekt der lustigen Badespaßveranstaltung. Die Dose selbst ist auch eher unspektakulär und durch eine 6spurige Cacherautobahn nicht zu verfehlen. Kann man aber gut mitnehmen, wenn man eh zur 7Burgen-Tour reist. Die ist nicht weit weg.

Generell gibt es nicht "DIE" beste Dose. Sondern nur eine Handvoll Dosen, die dir persönlich am Besten gefallen. Und das ist bei dir ganz anders als bei mir und wieder anders als bei vielen anderen Menschen.

Ich habe diese Probleme behoben.
(I will write the rest in English since I really don't know more like a hundred words in German, sorry about that.
I am the main developer behind Project-GC, and sometimes I try to follow forums to find out what problems people run into, here obviously was one.

The issue this time was timeouts in the Groundspeak API when getting favorite points from caches with a lot of them, the issue was solved within an hour after I found this post, it might take a few hours until it's live everywhere on the site though.

It would be great for the future of Project-GC if you send an email to us when you find these things, it's pretty hard to validate all data manually, and from our knowledge everything is correct right now.

I think I would answer that with, there are contact information that goes to the group of developers. Why would I have my private email address there? It's _only_ in Germany in the whole world that's expected (what I know of).

Or correct me if I am wrong and didn't understand you. Maybe it's just not easy enough to find contact information. If that is the case, I will look into that in the next week (when I am home again). It's really difficult to find. I would expect something like "Contact", "Impress" (which is a rule for sites in Germany) or something similar as a main menu item.

That's probably not a bug though. I can take a look at it. But the thing is most likely that it has 15 FP and only 10 of those who logged it are premium. With the reason that some of those who gave points isn't premium anymore.

Though I probably can fix it. When this list was created I did not track who gave the points, just a some for each cache. But even if whom is tracked now, I am afraid that it would be extremely slow to take that into consideration. But I will try to look into it.

I knew about this issue, but for Sweden where I spend the most of my time it's not a big deal, it's a very few caches which have the issue. I often take a look at Germany for new features since you guys are 10 times as big. Both to see performance and to try to find these things. But I probably forgot to check this in Germany, most likely because I had the list before I had all data from Germany.

Man kann die PQ in GSAK nach Favpoints sortieren, vielleicht gibt es da auch ein Makro zu

Problem: Man bekommt nur 1000 Caches und braucht folglich ne Menge PQs, Schmierzettel und ne ausgetüftelte Taktik um (nur) ganz Deutschland abzudecken.

Einfacher: Advanced Search -> Search for all Geocaches -> By: By Country/State -> Country: Germany -> State/Province: -- Select All --
Dann nach Favis sortieren.

Hey, wo kann ich nach diesem Kriterium suchen? Irgendwie finde ich auf der Seite nichts.
Diese Möglichkeit suche ich schon länger und habe leider nichts gefunden bisher. (Nur BookmarkLists ab 50 fav.)

That seams to be exactely like you say. You should change the calculation of that, Place No 1 is a cache with 12 FavPoints, because 2 members aren't premium members any more and so the cache has 120% premium logs.
