Ok, it is 5x1024=5120 characters. Is that enought?

icon, after clicking on it - just upload an image.

That´s enough for me
But it seems that my geoKrety is not properly linked to oc.
Although I see it booked to the event on Your side, it is
not listed on oc-site? Maybe that´s the bug which Oliver mentioned.

By the way, some minor hint:
When You edit the content of the geoKrety,
then it would be nice if You see the result as soon as You save
and not a simple OK. Because actual behaviour is that You have
to go through all menues to see the new content and check it,
which is quite a long way...

I created a Krety for the Dönerstag Event, and dropped it into the Event Cache as you can see here :

Same experience with my two geoKrets (see two postings above).
But as I wrote before, it seems to me that this bug is on oc-side.

Ah, o.k., I thought it could be possibly a problem with the Cache Type "Event". So let's wait for an OC Update ;-)

hi,
i've got to problems that i wanted to report ...
1. i love using GK.org also as some kind of a Geo-Blog -> tracking my Way. The Problem: I often log more then one Cache that i've found at one day. Often i forgot to edit the date or the time. so i have to edit it. but when i click edit the time has always set back to 12:00 (even if i've already selected another time) could you fix that?
2. because of this Geo-Blog-Thing i always write very much about the caches and how i found them and what happend ...
So it would be gread if you could set the max length also up to 5000.

hey there,
i've got another idea ;-)
I use Firefox 2 with the Greasemonkey Plugin.
I found a Script on http://www.cache-test-dummies.de/2007/08/22/geocache-export-zu-googlemaps/ that meight probably help to solve the problem, that GC-Points can't transmit the coordinates.

What the Script does:
It makes the GC-Points an GC.com clickable:

and this link links to googlemaps.
there you can see the coordinates of the GC-Point.

This script seems to be in Java or Javascript and perhaps it's possible to change the code and use it for geokrety.org (the coder is a geocacher).

Hi, the problem is that GC (or groundspeak corporation) doesn't allow anybody to get those waypoints and to use in other services (it is written somewhere here: http://www.geocaching.com/waypoints/agreement.aspx?ID=-1 ). We just don't want to get in troubles with them.

When I am not logged in and look for another user,

then I have to click to "My geokrets" to see his geokrets.
The better wording would be "geokrets list"

Is it planned that I am able to email other users within geokrety.org?

Yes, I konw it sounds ridiculous, I will change it in the future.

Spricht, klappt es wenn man auf gk.org einen GK in einen OC-Cache legt oder herausnimmt, dass dies auf oc.de entsprechend angezeigt wird?
